50th Bon Odori

Bon Odori 2026, organized by the Japan Club of Kuala Lumpur in collaboration with Sunway City Kuala Lumpur, returns to bring the vibrant spirit of a traditional Japanese summer festival to Malaysia.

As one of the most anticipated cultural events of the year, Bon Odori 2026 is expected to attract thousands of visitors, boosting Malaysia’s tourism and showcasing the country as a dynamic, friendly, multi-cultural destination. In celebration of this milestone, the2026 edition will be the largest Bon Odori ever held in Malaysia. 2026 also marks the 50^th anniversary of the festival in Malaysia, making it a truly milestone celebration.
